Lake Bolac has been nearly empty throughout the drought and has only just started to fill so fishing may or may not be good, but kayaking is great, and walking along the edge of the lake is invigorating.
Camping is permitted on most of the accessible foreshore except where restriction signs are displayed.
Toilet facilities are located at North, East, South and Main Beaches with hot showers only at Picnic Point at the end of Main Beach.
Fees apply and will be collected by foreshore rangers on regular patrol.
