The Bournda National Park Camping Area has hot showers, public toilets and fixed fire places with a swing BBQ plate attached, but not all camping locations have them. You will find wide and long sandy beaches, as well as an extensive network of walking trails. For the fishermen and woman there is plenty of flathead to be caught near the waters edge at dusk
The Bendemeer Park Rest Area has separate public toilets, and a few undercover picnic tables, and a wood fired BBQ place. This rest spot is located on the banks of the Watson Creek quite a nice place to pull over and relax a bit. Note: No Camping Permitted
The Hobart Beach campground has multiple toilet facilities, hot showers are on a timer, fire pits, an onsite laundry, plus some shady and sunny sites. Large covered area with plenty of tables and bench seats. There is a shallow lake next to the campground. Plenty of flathead for the fishermen and fisherwomen, to catch close to the waters edge at dusk
Make sure you pre-book in peak times as all sites are numbered.
Note: The park has coin-operated pay and display machines - please bring correct coins. Park entry fees are not included in your camping fees.
The Bendethera Valley Camping Area has a selection of 4x4 tracks for you to explore. You can take your camera and simply enjoy the river and the activities available on it. While your here you can try your hand at catching a fish or two for tucker.
The Bonshaw Weir Camping Area has a Public Toilet block, some shade to park under and a a few Picnic Tables. There are also a few fire places, don't forget to bring your own firewood. Note: Fishing and swimming within 200m of weir is prohibited
The Booberoi Weir Camping Area located on the Lachlan River, is a nice place to stop for a day or two. You can go fishing, or test out your kayak and camera gear. You won't find many facilities here, so please leave the site cleaner than when you arrived.
