The Alice Springs Desert Park has some animals that are unique to the desert and not usually found in other parks or zoos. They also have a nocturnal guide where you will get to see native animals feeding and foraging in the night You can also walk through the bird sanctuaries freely, and there is a bird demonstration that you should not miss as well.
The Alice Springs Reptile Centre is good value for money, especially for kids as they can see all the animals on display. you will see Terry the croc, goannas, venomous snakes, pythons, frill neck lizards and thorny devils. Daily shows at 11am, 1pm and 3.30pm including handling.
If you like crocodiles, then this is the place to visit, Crocodylus Park have over 1000 of these snapping critters, plus lions, monkeys, water buffalo and an assortment of other animals for you to view in safety.
