- The onsite taps use Town water.
- Time to take that Kayak off the roof and put it to good use there is also a public boat ramp.
- Both Rainbow and Brown trout are in the lake so good luck.
- There is now a children's play area and an off leash area for dogs.
- Caravans are allowed for no longer then 48 hours and must be self sufficient (have their own toilet) (People in tents and kombi vans must also have own toilet) Please Note: the Toilet block is locked overnight.(Due to vandalism)
- Caravans are required to park in the designated sign posted area adjacent to the amenities block
- Dogs must be on leads at all times, unless in the designated "off leash area"
- Toilet block is open between 8am to 5pm ONLY. P.S. Be careful and keep an eye open for brown snakes, and are often seen along the banks and water areas. (If Bitten seek medical attention immediately) Please Check with the local council with regards Algae Blooms: https://council.lithgow.com/
- No Campfires allowed at Lake Wallace
NOW FOR THE BAD PART:
- Some idiots are ruining this site by dumping Human Waste, and abusing the local facilities.
- Some are Catching fish and leaving the carcass to rot, as they are too lazy to dispose of their unwanted catch properly.
- Its people like this, that are ruining it for the rest of us.
IF YOU SEE SOMEONE DOING SOMETHING WRONG: Grab a photo and their vehicle registration, and notify the local police. If we don't act responsibly we will have nowhere to free camp.

Camping at Rest Areas Regulations in New South Wales.
Rest Area Definition: A rest area is a safe area beside the road where motorists can pull off the roadway to rest.
You can sleep in most of the rest areas in Australia for 20 hours consecutive, but pitching a tent and setting up camp is prohibited.
Some areas of New South Wales might have different time limits, so be observant and check if there are any erected sings with limits.
Facilities vary within each Rest Area, some may have public toilets, fireplaces, bbqs, picnic tables etc. or they might have nothing more than a place to safely park your vehicle.
Note: It is important motorists use rest areas designated for the type of vehicle they are driving.
