Welcome to Tahune Adventures
A comfortable and scenic 90-minute drive south from Hobart is one of southern Tasmania’s must-see attractions; Tahune Adventures.
On the Tahune Airwalk you can walk high above the forest canopy and share the lives of the forest giants from up-close, looking down to the place where the wild waters of the Huon and Picton Rivers mingle. The 600-metre walkway ends at a spectacular cantilevered platform 50 metres above the riverbank, with views extending to the mountains of the World Heritage Area.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the Tahune Adventures visitor centre.
Your site entry is a day pass and includes access to all walks on site.
EAGLE HANG GLIDER

Eagle Hang Gliding tickets can be purchased from the visitor centre on the day. We don’t take pre-bookings or hold time slots for this experience. For safety reasons the experience closes during strong winds.

ACCOMMODATION
Cabin
Set among tall trees, the Tahune Cabin offers private, self-catering accommodation for up to four people. Perfect for couples and small families.
Lodge
The Tahune Lodge offers secluded, self-catering accommodation. It’s available for exclusive occupancy, suited for group bookings. The Lodge has a total of 8 rooms, which can accommodate up to 20 guests.
Camping
Are you planning a trip with your camper, RV, motor home, or camping trailer? Head to the forest and stay at Tahune Adventures.
Tickets are available from our Visitor Centre between 10 am – 4 pm. If you arrive after 4pm, you can book your Airwalk ticket online and call us to arrange camping payment.
