Free camping is a very cost effective way to explore the Western Australia countryside.
You'll find many free camp locations to choose your perfect camp from, including some with amazing cliffside Ocean views.
These campsites will rang from the very basic rough bare bones camping, right through to toilets and hot showers, drinking water, BBQ's etc.
Camping on any beach in Western Australia, is generally not allowed.
However, there are a few local councils that will allow you to get the best Ocean Views imaginable.

The Brockway Rest Area has limited shade with plenty of room to park your caravan. This rest area is slightly elevated on a gravel surface and just off the main highway with plenty of room for trucks and caravans.
The Bromus Dam Camping Area is a good place for a stop over, with public toilets, picnic tables, and fire pits and shady trees with heaps of room for caravans to park. For the fishermen, there is a dam not too far away with yabbies in it.
