Adams Dam is north of Cairns. It is a beautiful example of North Queensland remote savannah country. Situated by Adams Dam is the second largest granite formation next to Ayres Rock. With nature all around there are opportunities for stunning views and relaxation. Adams Dam will be open for camping in early August. It will also be open for those wishing to view the best possible view of the eclipse as it is located directly under the line of totality. For more information visit adamsdam.com
