Hideaway Haven B&B is situated 11 km south from Bundaberg Airport. Set on 12 undulating acres in a private bush setting overlooking 3 dams. We offer privacy and security for your stay. We do not have caravan sites per say but if you walk around first I think you can find a suitable site. We would welcome the odd Grey Nomad with self contained vans or camper vans. Dump point and toilets 11 km opposite airport. There is a steep hill down into the property but it is bitumen sealed and safe. From here you can now travel to Lady Elliot by small plane and Lady Musgrave Cruises and whale watching are operating from Port Bundaberg. Mon Repos is a short drive for turtle tours at the right time of year. Bundaberg Rum and Bundaberg Brewed Drinks have tours. Trip Advisor Awards for Excellence 2014 & 2015. The Burnett River is a short drive for fishing.

Crows Nest National Park Camping Ground.


Handy Information:
To get to this site, you will encounter a mixture of asphalt and dirt roads. Its also worth mentioning that you will need to bring your own wood, Once there some nice walking tracks to explore and a few more difficult for the more fitter among us. There are thirteen sites mostly flat with barbecues (byo wood). There is a put and take drum for hot water but again no wood supplied.

Calliope River Rest Area Free Camp 48 Hour Limit.

Beware of Crocodiles in the river, the warning signs posted for a good reason. Also Note: The bridge which has a 5-tonne weight limit. There is a free camp time limit of 48 hours.
