Naturaliste Reptile Park is an educational and interactive experience, where you can learn about WA's venomous snakes, play with the pythons, gaze at the goannas, leap with the lizards and learn about them all.

Pop over to The Museum and Art Gallery and take a conducted tour of the monastery.
The $10 overnight fee assists cover the cost of providing water, sewerage and ground cleaning staff to service the facilities. The Benedictine Community who have occupied the site since 1847 are a not-for-profit organisation that continues to maintain the entire townsite and welcomes all visitors throughout the year.
The water level in the dam varies quite a bit if you are in a drought cycle or a normal season.
P.S. The dam was completed in 1898, but never realy used.
The road in is now all bitumen (not dirt) but it is somewhat narrow, so need to travel in slowly, particularly if towing a caravan.
