Free camp sites north of Cairns to Cape York

Hi all,
We are planning a trip from Brisbane to Cape York. On the qld map I don't see any camps marked above cairns area.
How could I find out about the area above cairns please?

I would suggest you contact a few visitor information centres in the areas you are intending to travel to in Queensland, they should be able to help you out with camping areas and local road conditions.

There are indeed plenty of spots in Queensland for a memorable camping trip. Here are some spots you can consider for camping:

2.EDDIE’S ELIM BEACH CAMP.
3.SANDY BAY | SOUTH MOLLE ISLAND
4. CHARLIE MORELAND.
5.NIGHTFALL WILDERNESS CAMP | LAMINGTON NATIONAL PARK
6.BUNYA MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK.
7.TAMBORINE MOUNTAIN
