Ask a few questions like:

• What level of cover do I get for my money?
• Is the Window Glass Covered?
• In the event of Fire or theft, Is the cost of emergency accommodation covered?
• Is the Annex covered by the policy?
• And is the Awning covered also?
• Are the Caravan contents covered for theft?
• And don't forget to ask about Flood, storm or malicious damage?
• Can I pay by monthly installments, or do I have to pay annually?

Ask about Linking your Caravan insurance to your Car insurance, Boat insurance, House and general contents insurance, and making them into one comprehensive insurance policy, this will defiantly save you money.

It's very hard to get insurance if:-
1: Your going to live in it permanently and
2: Not going to have a fixed address even though everything is done via email.

Only 2 I can find is NRMA and CIL

Failing that you lie and give them an address of a friend, if you have any.

I have just cut all ties with my sister because she wouldn't let me use her address as my home base!
